I first got my experience and love for film editing when I decided to edit a wedding video. The process of making the video put me on the path of film editing. I filmed and edited videos from trips that a youth group would take every year at the end of summer for two weeks. Then I went on to attend Colorado State University- Pueblo to get a degree in Mass Communications with an emphasis in electronic media. I learn more about the post production process, how a radio station stays on the air, and be apart of a production crew for a live tv show. Once I graduated I got a job at a local TV station in Colorado as a Master Control Operator then when a position opened up for a studio tech I applied since it’s close to the experince for film editing.
I am the type of editor that will not do the same thing other editors do but will think of new and creative ideas on how the best way to tell the story with the footage.
When doing an edit I pay close attention to every frame of the video.
Will make your vision for the video no matter how wild the idea is.
A quality edit on the project in a efficient amount of time.
